About the Recipe


  • 8 slices sourdough bread

  • 4 tablespoons infused olive oil

  • Infused salt

  • Pepper

  • 1 small red onion, cut into thin halved slices

  • 2 ripe avocados, mashed

  • 1 large lemon, zested and halved

  • 8 slices cooked bacon

  • Everything bagel seasoning

  • Chili or Red Pepper flakes


  • Flat pan

  • Stovetop

  • Bread knife

  • Paring knife

  • Chef's knife

  • Cutting board

  • Silicone basting brush

  • Small bowls

  • Fork or masher

  • Zester

  • Measuring spoons


  1. Heat flat pan on stovetop over medium heat.

  2. Brush or drizzle olive oil over both sides of bread. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toast on flat pan until golden brown. Move to individual plate or serving platter.

  3. Spread mashed avocado on toast. Sprinkle with lemon juice and lemon zest.

  4. Top with bacon, red onion, everything bagel seasoning and chili flakes.
